And there it is, in all its glory.. The first production McLaren P1 to be seen openly in Malaysia.

Enhanced by McLaren Special Operations, this particular P1 features gold wheels, gold McLaren badging and interior trims, a gold engine cover shield, and most significantly, a 24K gold exhaust heat shield as was also used on the McLaren F1.

It's also a rather special one, as it is the only McLaren P1 in the world to receive its own unique VIN and chassis number separate from the 001-375 run, as requested by its royal owner.

Truly a special and stunning example of McLaren Automotive's finest hypercar to date!

Gold is a bit ostentatious- I think it cheapens the look of any car.
Apart from the gold, it does look very nice.

Thanks. Unfortunately I am able to share neither the chassis number nor the original production run serial number, as they were shared in confidence with me and a few of his friends from Singapore. It may become public at some point in the future if some of them talk about it and he doesn't mind.

Here are 2 more photos, along with some video footage I captured of it entering Race Mode and driving off in E-Mode, uploaded through my friend Shmee150. The wing deployment was a little jerky at the end when it goes to its high downforce angle; has this been noticed on any other P1s?
