Bobby here from Hydra Motor Works. I wanted to start a nice little build thread for you guys to follow with this gorgeous 2018 720S that was dropped off to us yesterday morning!

Our customer decided to go with a set of Fabspeed Catbypass Pipes, Supersport LT Style Exhaust paired up with a Hydra Motor Works ECU Tune. This is just step #1 with this build - stay tuned for some dyno charts, videos and photos to watch us take this car to the next level!

UPDATE!

Hydra Motor Works is now able to unlock, tune and ship/install 720s' with a 1-day turnaround time! All done in-house!

We will be grabbing stock dyno runs with this car then tune only dyno. We will begin the install of the Catbypass Pipes and Exhaust following and top it off with a full bolt-on and tune dyno pull.

p.s. We also just ordered an interesting new pair of shoes for our customer as well. Stay tuned to see what we put together for him!

Step 2 of 3 is complete! Wheels are on and having everyone here at Hydra drooling.

Our customer picked up the car while the Vorsteiner pieces are being fabricated. We were sad to see her go for a little bit but it put a huge smile on our face to see how happy the customer was after we were done with it.

Yo guys! Bobby from Hydra Motor Works, back to share some updates on a few McLarens we’ve had in the shop over the last couple of months!



Check out this Novitec 720S we had the privilege of working on recently!

We are installing some Fabspeed Catbypass Pipes, BMC Air Filters, and a Hydra Motor Works custom tune. The 720 is an absolute animal from the factory. For most, the stock performance is adequate, if not slightly excessive. However, if you’re looking to turn your 720 up to 11, the aforementioned modifications make a significant difference.

Stock output for these cars is approximately 640 wheel horsepower and 530 ft.lbs.
After the bolt on’s and tuning, you can expect roughly 760whp and 690 ft.lbs, for an overall gain of nearly 120 horsepower and 160 torque.
