570S or a 650S Spider ?

After much deliberation I have narrowed my search for a top track Car and comfortable road car down to a Mclaren . I do around 12 days a year and the odd Vmax200

But which one ??

I prefer the fresher style of a 570 and it’s low weight but the 650 has the fancy aero and the trick suspension.

With the 570 I can go newer but is a 650 a better faster track car ? Having gone up against a few 570s they were quick on the straights but less composed in tighter bends , never come across a 650 unfortunately

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

i agree with you. Also as of my knowledge the 650S is just a facelift of the infamous mp412c which had many electrical problems.

maybe opt for one of the newer mclarens since they will be covered under warranty?

I would definately opt for the McLaren 570S or even the 600LT if your budget allows it.

After a few weeks kicking tyres etc , I have decided on a 570s coupe.

I have come across one with a Track Pack on, so will be a few Kgs lighter but not to the degree of a 600lt. The colour is spot on and has front lift but little external carbon and no other extras unlike a few others I have seen.

I Would like the Track Telemetry so will need to make a decision on my best option

Yes would quite like improving the downforce ( Novitec Wing Perhaps ) and of course another 50bhp

There is s problem, i think all tunes nowadays offer more than 50 HP extra on the 570S J/K
As for wing also take a look on the latest 1016industries wing, i love that simple design.
